I knew this speech because it’s sampled almost in its entirety on the Steinski track “It’s up to You” (television mix), and of course because of the reference to it on the (overrated) Battlestar Galactica re-boot, but I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t actually know the source of it until this week’s Footnotes of Mad Men.
