I should let the good folks at Capital New York know though that I don’t know how many other people in Jersey City (even downtown) would know about the site. I’m some sort of weirdo media-geek-who-isn’t-actually-in-the-media anomaly maybe? (Hence the NYO t-shirt which I’m guessing probably hasn’t been worn by too many people who aren’t staffers.) I had 3 bylines at Gawker in 2004, 2 edited by Choire Sicha and one edited by Andrew Krucoff. I was supposed to have something in the Observer around that time when Maria Russo was still an editor there but it didn’t happen due to an e-mail mishap. I have no idea what any of this means and make of it what you will. Anyway, it’s nice to see that some people who possess bylines I respond positively to and who write for NYC-based publications live in Downtown Jersey City. And Capital New York, I’ll do my best to recruit as many other “uniques” as I can for you around here!
